A Trip Down Memory Lane: My Stay at Camp Miramichee

Nestled along the banks of Spring River, Camp Miramichee offers a perfect blend of history, nature, and relaxation. As soon as I stepped onto the grounds, I felt like I was walking through history. Originally established in 1916 as a girls’ camp, Camp Miramichee has transformed into a collection of cozy cabins available for rent, thanks to the efforts of Lynn and Jay, the current owners who are preserving this special place’s legacy.

During my stay in Cabin 45, I had the privilege of diving into the rich history of the camp. Lynn and Jay were gracious enough to share photo albums dating back over 100 years, documenting the camp’s many memories. One highlight was learning about the 2016 reunion, where families who once attended the camp returned, bringing new generations to experience the magic of Miramichee. It was heartwarming to see how the camp has maintained its charm and connection to so many people.
